Laundry Powder Detergent - 128 HE loads
Our Laundry Powder is a people- and planet-friendly laundry detergent made with non-toxic ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. This powder detergent is just as effective as liquid detergent but is ultra concentrated, plastic-free, and preservative-free.
How to use
1. Scoop 1/2 tablespoon for HE washing machines or 1 tablespoon for standard washing machines. (1 TBS. scoop included with steel/paper tin)
2. Add powder detergent directly to the drum before adding clothes
3. Wash as normal. Powder dissolves in hot or cold water and is safe for natural fibers.
Full usage instructions
For a full load of laundry, we recommend using up to half a tablespoon in a high-efficiency (HE) washer and up to one tablespoon of Laundry Powder in a standard washer. The stainless steel scoop included in the steel/paper tin measures one tablespoon. For large or extra dirty loads of laundry, double the amount of Laundry Powder.
Our Laundry Powder does not contain enzymes, so it is safe to use for washing natural protein-based fibers like wool and silk. It is also safe to use with all water temperatures and gentle enough for baby clothes and people with sensitive skin.
Many washing machines are designed for liquid detergent rather than powder detergent. We suggest adding laundry powder directly to the drum before adding the dirty clothes to the machine. This ensures the powder dissolves adequately.
Less is more. For loads that are less than full, you can decrease the amount of detergent you use. Though it may seem counterintuitive, too much detergent can make clothes feel unclean. Excess detergent can get caught in clothes and washing machines, resulting in build-up and causing unwanted odors and dinginess.
For loads that need a boost to remove stains and sweat odors, you can add our Oxygen Brightener Bleach Alternative to a wash alongside our Laundry Powder. This color-safe product brightens, whitens, and deodorizes your clothes by removing the dinginess and build-up that accumulates over time and reviving fabrics to their original vibrancy. We recommend adding up to a full tablespoon in a standard washer, and a half tablespoon in an HE washer.
Oxygen Brightener is not compatible with natural protein-based fibers, such as wool and silk, or with septic systems.
Ingredients
We use only what you need to clean your clothes: a simple formula of baking soda, washing soda, and vegetable soap made with organic coconut oil. Our scented varieties are made with organic essential oils—no mysterious “fragrance” blends that contain undisclosed ingredients.
All of our non-toxic ingredients are MADE SAFE® Certified, Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and vegan. We list every ingredient, including scents, on the front label so you can see what’s in your detergent.
Our plastic-free laundry detergent is packaged in a paper and steel canister and is fully recyclable.
